Past Layouts

Screenshot of Version 4
:: Tranquility ::
Version: 4.0
Date: November 2005 - August 2007
Medium: skEdit for coding, Adobe Photoshop CS for graphics.
Image Source: Stock.Xchng
Comments: Was originally part of a concept of having a seasonal themed website (with V3 being active during Winter and V4 during Spring) but with the idea scraped, it became Version 4 of Euphoric Realms. Still has the same overall feel as Version 3 in the sense of blending photography and web design, with a few minor changes being made to the layout.

:: Snowboarding ::
Version: 3.0
Date: August 2005 - October 2005
Medium: TextWrangler for coding, Adobe Photoshop CS for graphics.
Image Source: Stock.Xchng
Comments: Decided to stop using frames and gave Euphoric Realms a brand new look to help accommodate the eventual growth the site is experiencing. I strayed away from all the fancy images and effects I've used in some of my old sites, and instead, gave it a modern look and feel that worked well in all browsers and platforms. My first site to fully utilise XHTML, external stylesheets, and a tableless design.

:: Minas Tirith ::
Version: 2.0
Date: April 2005 - August 2005
Medium: TextWrangler for coding, Adobe Photoshop CS for graphics.
Image Source: TheOneRing
Comments: Some friends of mine didn't really like the image I used in version 1 since it was a little bit...ecchi. So I decided to go for my original concept of having Minas Tirith from the Lord of the Rings trilogy as the medium. Those who visited the site before it actually opened, should have noticed that the 'Coming Soon' image featured Minas Tirith. As you can probably tell, I didn't really bothered changing the actual layout...only the theme have been changed with a tiny bit of touch-up here and there.

:: Asuka & Rei ::
Version: 1.0
Date: March 2005
Medium: TextWrangler for coding, Adobe Photoshop CS for graphics.
Image Source: Minitokyo
Comments: This layout features Asuka and Rei from the anime series, Neon Genesis: Evangelion. The layout uses frames, basic HTML and CSS. It was originally intended for version 3 of kewl_ray's illustrations, but then I realised that I haven't even done anything for this domain. So after a few modifications and changing the colour scheme, it became Euphoric Realms' very first layout.
